Bid Manager - Data Centres - Lisbon

We are currently partnering with a Tier-2 Design and Build contractor specialising in Data Centres across Europe. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to expand their team further with an experienced Bid Manager in Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities

Lead Bid Management Activities
Take full ownership of end-to-end bid processes for data centre construction projects across Europe, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions aligned with client specifications and company standards.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
Collaborate closely with engineering, commercial, legal, and operational departments to gather critical inputs, clarify project scopes, and build compelling, compliant bid documentation.
Develop Winning Strategies
Analyse tender documentation to identify client priorities, risk factors, and competitive landscape, contributing to the development of tailored win strategies and value propositions.
Maintain Bid Documentation & Templates
Standardise and manage bid templates, credentials, case studies, and supporting documents to ensure consistency, compliance, and a professional brand presence in all proposals.
Support Pipeline & Market Intelligence
Liaise with the business development team to track upcoming opportunities, support pre-bid engagement, and provide insight into regional market trends—especially across data centre infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 5+ years’ experience on Data Centre construction projects or similar mission critical construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Portugal
